Online Application: Step 1 - enter student information

Have you contacted us regarding class availability and read our Policies and Guidelines?
If not you should do so now in order to ensure your best chance of receiving the classes you apply for.
Enter complete information for the person who will be taking the class.

Students under age 18 must be accomapnied by a parent or guardian.

When applying for more than one student, remember to fill out an application for each student.

The dietary/physical concerns box should be left blank unless your needs will require special consideration when assigning housing or providing meals. You will have an opportunity to enter other information later in the application process.

If you have food allergies, please list those foods you are allergic to. We need to know which foods, not just that you have allergies.

APPLYING FOR CLASSES AT WILLIAM HOLLAND

When registering online, you should:

  1. Check the Class Schedule to see which classes and weeks you are interested in.
  2. Read and understand the class descriptions for each class you plan to take so that you will be sure you are applying for a class that meets your needs and expectations.
  3. Make sure you have reviewed and understood our Policies and Guidlines, our Privacy Policy, and any other instructions, policies, guidelines, or laws applicable to this process.
  4. Contact us to inquire about the availability of classes.
  5. Once you have received a response and have been assured that a class is available, fill out all requested information on our Application, making sure you finish your Application by using the "submit" button.
  6. When we contact you indicating you have been tentatively registered for your desired class, you must send a deposit in the amount indicated by the Registrar (your "deposit") within one (1) week. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your tentative registration.

When registering offline, you should:

  1. Check the Class Schedule to see which classes and weeks you are interested in.
  2. Read and understand the class descriptions for each class you plan to take so that you will be sure you are applying for a class that meets your needs and expectations.
  3. Make sure you have reviewed and understood our Policies and Guidlines, our Privacy Policy, and any other instructions, policies, guidelines, or laws applicable to this process.
  4. Contact us to inquire about the availability of classes.
  5. Once you have received a response and have been assured that a class is available, obtain an Application ( either by printing one from our website or by contacting us), and mail the completed Application along with the amount indicated on the Application or by the Registrar (your "deposit") within one (1) week. Failure to do so will result in the rejection of your registration.

Around five weeks before the date of your class, you will likely begin to receive information from your instructor regarding the content of the class and any materials or tools you will need to provide. Should you need to contact your instructor before this time, please let us know so that we can put you in touch with them.

IMPORTANT: Remember that from November through March, our office is only staffed on a part-time basis. If you try to reach us by phone, your request may not be processed for several days. We strongly encourage you to make availability inquires via email.

Returning students should be aware that fees have changed for the 2012 season.

Deposits

Staying in our lodges: $100 per person, per week.

Staying in our campground: $50 per person, per week.

Commuter Students: $50 per person, per week.

All deposits are required with application and must be made via first-party, domestic check or money order. All payments are required in US$.

Tuition

Lodge: $330.00 per person, per week. (add $160.00 per week for private room)

Camper: $280 per week (1 student, up to 1 guest), $440 per week (2 students). Additional students/guest can be added at a rate of $25 per person and $160 per class.

Commuter: $160 per person, per week.

Early Arrival on Saturday is $18 per person in lodge and $12 per site in campground.

Remember that charges listed here do not include class fees, lab fees or any other incidental fees incurred by the student or listed in the class description. Guests are subject to charges as listed in the Guests section of our Policies and Guidelines.

All class fees and lab fees are payable directly to the instructor at the time you take your class. William Holland does not handle these charges.

Tuition for students/guests staying in our lodge includes all meals. For campers and commuters, tuition only includes Sunday dinner. These students can purchase meals individually during their stay at a rate of $6 per breakfast, $7 per lunch, and $9 per dinner.

Remember that, if you are staying in our lodges, you will need to have $5 per key in cash ready as a deposit on your room key, which is refunded upon the return of the key.
