Wire I - Beginning Wire Wrap for Middle School Students - Ruthie Loftin

This class is geared for boys and girls age 11 - 14. It is intended for students will little or no experience in wire. My goal is to instill a life-long love for creating into the children, giving them the basic knowledge needed to do wire wrap, while allowing their creativity to guide their projects. The class fee is $50. This fee covers fun wire, copper wire for two projects, sterling silver for one project, an arrowhead, a shark's tooth, and patterns for several pieces. They will complete a minimum of 5 projects from provided material. Additional wire, beads, and complete kits will be available for an additional fee ($6 - $20 per kit). Depending on the complexity of the project and the material selected, expect your child to spend an additional $6 to $100. You are welcome to send your own SS or gold-filled wire, beads, cabochons, etc. with your child.
